Our Region

With so much to see and do in Western Australia's premier near-Perth leisure region, your time with us will be well spent.

There's  house-boating and cruising quiet estuaries and waterways. Dining, theatre-going and art exhibitions on Mandurah's spectacular waterfront. Or step back in time as you visit some heritage sites. You can do all this and more right here.

Perhaps you'd prefer to sip an award-winning vintage at a character winery. Tee off on a world famous golf course. Browse in the markets or one of the many boutique and specialty shops. Trek a section of the famous Bibbulmun Track or cycle a leg of the new Munda Biddi Cycle Trail. Try your hand at white water rafting, visit a feature garden or just relax as you enjoy the Peel Region's extensive smorgasbord of natural delights - a network of inland waterways, wetlands, lakes, forests, National Parks and sandy ocean beaches. The Peel is a great place to get back to nature.

Less than sixty minutes drive south from Perth and only 48 minutes by train, the Peel Region covers an area of 5,500 square kilometers and includes five sub-regions: Serpentine-Jarrahdale, Murray (including Pinjarra and Dwellingup), Boddington, Waroona and Mandurah.  Each region with its unique characteristics and visitor attractions is featured on this website.

You can explore the Peel region on a day excursion from Perth, or spend some extra time to really enjoy the region whilst relaxing in a range of superb holiday accommodation.  For your extra enjoyment, festivals and special events take place year round (also listed on this website). And to help make your visit complete, the Mandurah Destination Guide, maps and a lot of other useful holiday information can be found by contacting the Mandurah Visitor Centre on 9550 3999.
